Dachstein Krippenstein Valley Run, Obertraun, Austria. This less known ski resort in Dachstein Salzkammergut has the longest ski run in Upper Austria. A hot spot in the freerider scene

The Freesports Arena Dachstein Krippenstein in the Upper Austrian Salzkammergut has been chosen by SnowPlanet magazine as a hot spot in the freerider scene. And beyond runs and cliff drops, the Krippenstein impresses with an exciting outdoor program – far away from the mainstream.

Thirty kilometers of off-piste variants and the guaranteed snow in the Dachstein area make it a paradise. No matter whether it’s skis or boards, the numerous variants of the Freesports Arena Dachstein Krippenstein will delight every powder freak! Schönberg, Imisl and Eisgrube offer rough rocky ridges, varied slopes and selective forest routes, 1500 meters of altitude per ride demand fitness and concentration.
