Ski openings ahead! A lot of ski resorts in my home country Austria have announced their opening dates for winter. Looking forward to first powder, hot parties and amazing concerts. Here is an overview of 11 ski openings in Austria you should not miss.

Kitzsteinhorn, Zell am See/Kaprun:
8 – 10 November 2019

13 – 23 November 2019

Obertauern: Ski Opening with Cro
30 November 2019

On November 30th, German rapper CRO – aka the one with the panda mask – will open the skiing season at 1,740 meters above sea level. All details: HERE >>

St. Anton / Arlberg:
28 November – 1 Dezember 2019

The Opening starts on 28.11. with the Event “Catch me if you can”. It is an event where 222 participants in two groups are skiing in the darkness with headlamps down to the valley. Concert with Sarah Connor on Saturday. All details: HERE >>

Schladming:
6 December 2019

On December 6 Schladming will start the winter season 2019/20 with the legendary ski opening at Planai Stadium with an excellent EDM Line-Up with TOP-Star DJ’s. Saalbach: Home of Lässig
6 – 8 December 2019

Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn is one of the largest ski areas in Austria. Skiers can use 140 km blue, 112 km red and 18 km of black slopes. 7 – 8 & 13 – 15 December 2019
