The Peak Run, Niseko, Japan

The Peak Run, Niseko, Japan. The ski area Niseko United stands for “Japow” (Japan Powder). All deep-snow descents lead down to the valley in the upper part over tree-free slopes and in the lower part mostly through forest aisles. The fantastic view of the Yotei-zan volcano is another highlight. Photo (playing card) by Jan Zahula.

Niseko Resorts

Frequently referred to as a ‘winter wonderland’, Niseko’s unique location makes it a Mecca for winter sports enthusiasts. With sub-arctic winds blowing in from Siberia and blanketing the resort in deep, dry powder snow, as a winter holiday destination, Niseko is attracting more and more visitors every year. The four ski resorts of Niseko – Annupuri, Niseko Village, Niseko Tokyu Grand Hirafu, Hanazono – together are collectively known as “Niseko United”. During the winter, skiers and snowboarders can ride the entire mountain with an “All Mountain Pass”. All Mountain Passes can be bought at each of the resorts.
