Focus of work:
Passionate about outdoor photography in general but mountain riding photography is very special and what I really want to do. The combination of being on the mountain with friends and skiing powder between shots is awesome. Also, the planning of a days shoot with a crew you know well and trust with safety issues. It becomes a mission. For example, waiting on the sunset light for many hours and then only having one chance of nailing the shot. The athletes really need to be able to trust you not to miss out and they need to stick the line, and when everything gets right… that’s what’s it’s all about!

Located in:
During winter in Engelberg, Switzerland & Chamonix, France. During off-season I’m based in Stockholm, Sweden.

Equipment:
Canon EOS 1d X mkII, Canon 70-200 f2.8 mkII, Canon 16-35 f2.8 mkIII, Canon 28-70 f2.8, Canon Speedlite 600ex-rt, Samyang fisheye, Fstop ICU in a Mammut guide pro airbag backpack.

References:
Kang Poles, Lion Alpin, Flaxta, Seger Europe, Chamonet.

Personal statement/philosophy:
“Life is not the days that passed but the days you remember” & “It’s never too late to move to a powder town” – the two statements kinda stick nicely together I think 🙂

Favorite ski spot:
Le grand Mur at Les Grands Montets in Chamonix, France. Epic run.

My best adventure/photoshoot yet:
If i have to pick one it will probably be a shot of one of Denmarks best freeriders Jeff Kjaer-Vest in Niseko, Japan in front the Mount Yotei during a 2 hour weather window after 2 weeks of continuos snowfall back in 2016. That trip was epic and it all kinda came together with that shot.

Person I would like to photograph:
I’ve had the privilege to work with some of the best on the FWT and also had the insane experience of skiing alongside Shane McConkey. If he was still with us – Shane any day of the week. Would not mind having a sesh with Scot Schmidt either 🙂

Place I would like to photograph:
Alaska – still on the bucketlist!
